Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Problem
Users find it difficult to find answers to their questions, and gather information they need. Furthermore reading extensive application documentation is time consuming, and users are usually not motivated enough to do so.
Solution
Publishing information in the form of questions and answers that are understandable. Content can be fruther divided in sections and categories such as general, finance, data and privacy and technical. Categorisation allows users to find the information they are looking for even faster.
Connected patterns
Chatbot is a related pattern that can also be used in addition to FAQ. Other related patterns that convey the same information, but are usually available to users when they start using the app, are video explanation and onboarding.
